Bicycling in Southeast Asia
If you’ve been thinking of an awesome way to tour the country and countryside of Southeast Asia, bicycling should be at the top of your list. Bicycling offers an adventure unlike anything you’ve ever been a part of. This is very true in countries like Thailand, Vietnam, and Malaysia. All of these areas provide something extremely amazing, especially when looking at the beautiful mountain ranges and historical cultures. Da Nang Vietnam is probably the best place to start although you could start in Thailand and work your way east. Many bicycle riders that have taken the trek say that working your way west is a much better option. While visiting Da Nang, you experience some of the most amazing sights you’ve probably ever seen. This is especially true when it comes to how green the country is. Your trek will probably take you south through cities like Quy Nhon and Buon Ma Thuot, depending on which route you take. These are all cities that have historical sites as well as some very homely cultures that can be seen and experienced along the way.
Some of the most amazing cycling you’ll be doing is when riding through Cambodia and experiencing such places as Memot, Kampong Cham, and Phnom Penh. These are all beautiful places that you will definitely want to stop long enough to enjoy the food, the people, and to learn a little bit about the culture as well. This is a time when you can learn all lot about the South Asian people because you will be able to visit with them while taking in the breathtaking sights. If you’re cycling through Southeast Asia your trip would not be complete without passing through Thailand, and your main destination should be Bangkok.
If your bicycle as held up this far you’re in good shape. If not, you definitely want to take a look at some of the bike shops in Bangkok because they’ll have everything you need to continue your trip south to Malaysia. There is no need to rush because you’ll have plenty of time. While visiting Thailand, you can enjoy the beautiful sites and the excellent cuisine before heading out on the rest of your trip. While heading south there is only one route to take and that ends up in Malaysia, one of the most beautiful countries in Southeast Asia. If you’ve decided to bicycle around Southeast Asia, Malaysia is one of the places you may want to spend most of your time.
When visiting Malaysia there are so many different historical locations to visit, it is incredibly difficult to name which one would be the most memorable. Once you’re there you will understand why bicycle riding is such an awesome way to explore the Southeast Asian countries because in more ways than one you will begin to feel as though you are a part of something that is awe-inspiring, allowing you to remember such a great experience for a lifetime.
